City Hire and Event Rentals is a privately owned business that has been operating since 1980 in Brisbane & the greater South East Qld Area. City Hire has been servicing Builders, Renovators, Tradies & DIYers hire equipment needs for 35 years. This makes City Hire one of Brisbane's most experienced and respected names in the region. In the early 1990's the then small Party Hire stock grew in to it's own seperate division called Event Rentals. City Hire started in 1980 as a small business operating out of a section of the current Kelvin Grove complex. Cliff (Owner) fitted towbars during the times when hiring equipment was slow. City Hire is a long term member of the Hire and Rental Industry Association of Australia.
The equipment and tool hiring business has grown steadily over the years, reflecting the City Hire philosophy of always providing quality equipment & quality service at the right price. We listen to our customers calls for new equipment and are constantly adding new stock. We are one of the few Brisbane Equipment Hire companies that is truly a one stop shop. Our range not only includes equipment hire as we also stock Scaffold, Access Equipment, Earthmoving & Landscaping Gear, Temporary Power Poles, Temporary Fence and Site Storage Containers.
Additional branches were opened at Moorooka and Brendale to better service our customers in the south and north areas.
