City Hire started in 1980 as a small business operating out of a section of the current Kelvin Grove complex. Cliff (Owner) fitted towbars during the times when hiring equipment was slow. City Hire is a long term member of the Hire and Rental Industry Association of Australia.
The equipment and tool hiring business has grown steadily over the years, reflecting the City Hire philosophy of always providing quality equipment & quality service at the right price. We listen to our customers calls for new equipment and are constantly adding new stock. We are one of the few Brisbane Equipment Hire companies that is truly a one stop shop. Our range not only includes equipment hire as we also stock Scaffold, Access Equipment, Earthmoving & Landscaping Gear, Temporary Power Poles, Temporary Fence and Site Storage Containers.
Additional branches were opened at Moorooka and Brendale to better service our customers in the south and north areas.
Although our roots are Equipment Hire we are also a major provider of Toilets in the greater Brisbane and surrounding area.
